City of Berkeley Climate Action Plan 2009

The City of Berkeley California's Climate Action Plan presents recommendations for the city to mitigate and adapt to a changing climate. Chapter 6 is devoted to adaptation in response to executive order S-13-08, and includes policy recommendations for declining water supply, extreme heat, and rising sea levels. It also recommends a regional vulnerability assessment be conducted with neighboring cities, and from these results, a regional adaptation plan be created.
